Castle in the Sky

This is my photograph of the Olde Stone Church in West Boylston, Massachusetts.
I call it Castle in the Sky, since it looks like a Castle in this shot. It's not
actually a Castle. It's a simple dirt floored Church, that overlooks a resevoir. It's a very old one too. Sometime around the 1800's IIRC it was built. You can read more on it at wikipedia.

Pretty Punchy Polymer Pin!

This is a pin I handmade. It's made from polymer clay, pressed into a mold, cut out, baked,cooled then sanded. Then I choose ink colours for them rebake them and let cool and harden.

Once the ink sets up, I glaze it with enamel paint. Then I add enamel glitter paint and a one final clearcoating of glaze and let air dry overnight.

These are small pins around 1-4 inches usually. This is 1 inch x 1 inch. For the small size they do pack a lot of punch & pop up a sweater or blazer lapel. These are my original designs and each one is just a little different than the last one. There is no recreating a purchased design exactly. I quite like this fact. As I'm something of an original, myself.

hydrangea collide

This is my hydrangea collide picture. It was a regular photo of a hydrangea plant of mine up close. Then I pulled into a program on the computer and using collide tool, I switched it all around, and edited it some.. Now it's a nifty piece of digital artistry. I love doing this sort of thing to photos, and artwork. It's a lot of fun.
